Stories from the Perspective of a Tree
A squirrel family, cowering in their drey on a crook of my limbs, are not thrilled with my dancing. I find such pleasure in sharing my home with these tiny rodents. Their claws tickle my trunk as they scramble across its length like a highway during rush hour, battening down their twig-made home in anticipation of more stormy weather.
